Project Goals

Newday simply needed help internally auditing their technical and organisational data protection control within the organisation. The project we conducted involved a comprehensive internal audit that found gaps, improvements and recommendations on how to implement such improvements in a feasible manner. 

Contributions

We successfully delivered the following:

• Performed internal audit for NewDay, covering data governance, data management, data privacy, and some elements of technology.
• Conducted comprehensive internal audit for NewDay Cards Ltd., including scoping, conducting audit, stakeholder agreement, and delivery of audit report. Areas covered included technology controls, user access controls, segregation of duties, data governance, data management, and data privacy.
• Validated audit closure points from Prudential Regulatory Authority, Financial Conduct Authority, and previous internal audits for 239, governance, data management, risk, compliance, and technology. Conducted further audits to validate frameworks, reviewed with stakeholders, and produced gap analysis and audit reports.
