The Post Office has come a long way since it all started over 380 years ago. The Post Office has built up a network of 11,500 branches across the country. They are the largest retail network in the UK. They are an anchor to the UK’s high streets, providing essential mails and banking services to some six million businesses and acting as a cuticle bridge between the online and offline economy.
Project Goal(s)
- We had only one project goal with the post office and that was to help them with Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR).
Contributions
- Successfully helped the post office with all data protection queries that stemmed from the plethora of Data Subject Access requests on a weekly basis and also ensured that these requests were responded to in the timely manner that is in compliance with UK GDPR regulation (one month). Our DSAR log that was sorted in matter of urgency and time constraints helped us respond to all DSAR in time.

Outcomes
The Contributions above were all successfully implemented and the post office was very happy with our contribution with all DSAR’s being responded to in a timely manner and little to no customer complaints after responding to initial DSAR.
